Savannah Oldham is a sixteen-year-old guitarist, singer, and songwriter.

I started playing music when I was 9 years old. I’ve listened to rock ‘n roll most of my life and have always had a passion for it. Rock ‘n roll has touched me in a way that no other genre has. I enjoy how loud it is, the vibe it gives you, and the stories it can tell. When I play, I find a sense of calmness, freedom, and happiness. There is nothing else that can bring me the feeling that music does.

I’ve been homeschooled my whole life which gives me plenty of time to work on my craft. I’m always looking for ways to improve. Some songs turn out better than others, but I know that not every song will make it to the studio. I consider each song a learning experience. I’m always pushing myself harder and trying new things. 

I first began playing music on the piano after being inspired by Sarah Mclachlan. Even at a young age, melody was very important to me which was part of why Mclachlan’s music was so influential to me. 

After two years of playing the piano, I switched to the guitar after listening to the band Alter Bridge and their lead guitarist, Mark Tremonti. Their music infuenced me so much and still does to this day. 

I’ve also been influenced by bands such as Dream Theater, Halestorm, Metallica, Van Halen, Rush, Creed and many more.
