my name is Lissa Oldham. I’m a thirteen-year-old guitarist/singer/songwriter. I play rock music with a hint of pop and acoustic melodies. I’ve listened to rock ‘n roll almost my whole life and have always had a passion for it. rock ‘n roll has touched me in a way that no other genre has. I enjoy how loud it is, the vibe it gives you, and the stories it can tell. when I play I find a sense of calmness, freedom, and happiness. there is nothing else that can bring that feeling to me that music does.
I live on a ranch in the high mountains of Colorado. I’ve lived here all my life. I’ve played guitar for almost five years starting when I was ten- years- old. and there is nothing I enjoy more. I’ve been writing songs since I was nine years old and started singing two years after that. I have been self-taught since the beginning of my playing. I learned from blues and country music before transitioning to the heavy riffs of rock ‘n roll.
my inspiration comes from various different musicians and bands. going from rock to pop to country and many other genres. some of my favorite artists are Alter Bridge, Tremonti, Lindsey Stirling, Slash, Metallica, pat Benatar, Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood, Orianthi, Avril Lavigne, Kelsea Ballerini, Dream Theater, adele, Shinedown, and many others.
I’ve been homeschooled my entire life. It gives me the opportunity to be creative. I spend much of my time writing lyrics and playing the electric and acoustic guitar. I enjoy doing hobbies such as soccer, drawing, and for a bit of fun dancing. My journey continues and I continue to learn new things.
